Who are the Optimists?

An Optimist is a member of a community service club geared to help the youth in the local community. Each club runs hands-on programs most needed by the community as decided by its club members. By being a member of an Optimist club the member grows as an individual by learning more about their community, gaining many friends with similar goals and improving the community that he or she lives in.

Professional Development Program

The PDP program is meant to provide members a way to develop
professionally. Members will have the opportunity to build skills that
will help them professionally and enhance their Club, District and
Optimist International. Our organization wants to bring in younger
professionals. The PDP is a tool to help them do that.
